So you are happy to waste your money on the fact that a PL team will play in a kit that can be bought in any sportswear suppliers catalogue with out any change. Whilst every other PL team who use Adidas are going to be playing in almost bespoke kits. If so I am happy to take the bet. Paid into a charity of our choice.
Of course, the Daily Mail get it wrong again. It's not that there are no obvious stripes. It's just a bloody ugly kit, stripes or no stripes. I'm not a dyed-in-the-wool, must-have-stripes supporter. I just want to be proud of the Lads when they walk out onto any turf, knowing they look the millions of dollars they cost. I'm not going to be with white flappy bits on sleeves and gold emblems. It's tacky and ugly at the same time, and that takes effort. You see, I can get ruffled too. BTW, it's The Saints Web and Twitter that the Daily Fail were watching.
yeah i relised that after i posted but could not be bothered to correct myself ha, the polls look the same so i asumed it was not606. The kit has grown on me already!
I like it. Classic red and white stripes with Sunderland and Stoke in the division seems slightly ridiculous.
I never buy kits so it hardly matters, but if I'm an indication of what a significant proportion of the supporters are thinking then the club will be worried. The revenue loss, compared to previous seasons, might be peanuts, but nevertheless, the supporters will not be universally satisfied. Saying that, I hope to goodness the kit grows on me too, although on first impressions, this is the worst reaction I've had to a shirt in donkey's years. I suspect the club will vox-pop opinion and there will be one or two saying how wonderful it is.
That opinion can stop right there, PL. Besides, I'm not sure your favoured club are in any position of superiority regarding recent kit designs.
Hey, our current kit is good. And then there was the epic maroon one. There's nothing inherently chavy about stripes, however when the entire kit is a solid block of colour, to have a few stripes along the shoulder makes it look an awful lot like a tracksuit top (I should know, I used to wear them every day!!) which is generally seen as being chavy clothing.
Oh look, you can buy a saints shirt on the same website... http://www.discountfootballkits.com...-Estro-SS-University-Red-White-Football-Shirt
Haha. If those thin stripes were on the kit i would be very happy. Looks very nice like that apart from the poor paint skills
