No news of a bid from Norwich, but certainly if there's interest from them then it should spurr us into making a move. I don't think anybody had considered the situation whereby we get neither Hooper or Austin. I imagine it would leave us a bit deflated...
The bookies obviously think something is happening with Hooper and Norwich: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/gary-hooper/club-after-summer-transfer-window
Hope not otherwise we he missed out again. Plenty of time left i know, but we are running out of striker targets.
Not really. It means that sum sucker has put some wonga on it thats all. Nothing to suggest other than a red top paper that anything is happening between Norwich and Hooper.
Considering it's well documented that we're interested and have made a bid previously, I think it would be a bit stupid of the bookies to let our odds drift right out to 11/1 without knowing something - our interest alone would keep our odds short if nothing was happening, surely.
Should have been both. I don't think anyone at the club realizes how ****e our current crop are in Premier League terms. As I read that I could feel the bile rising in my throat.
