Found this too:

David Conn ‏@david_conn 1h
Leeds United have cancelled a mortgage on shares held by GFH Capital, so Brendale Holdings mortgage appears to effectively replace it

Still means bugger all to a numbnut like me, but you never know, it might be significant!

Yes - It means you have mortgaged some shares to fund the wages over Summer - overwise known as a loan <ok>

So what happened to the old story that we have virtually no debt. Yeah right. Mortgaged all over the place I'll bet

Some more detail .....

Bates Out ‏@BatesOut 2m
From WACCOE:

In Dubai: Company called Brendale (who have lent LUFC money) in same building as GFH-C (David Haigh is a director of both)

In British Virgin Islands: Company called Brendale in same building as Teak Trading (Who own ER and TA)

It's never a good sign when David Conn gets interested.

Can the club just not do things that doesn't involve tax havens. First Bates and his 1 million companies in every tax haven in the country and now Haigh has a company in the British Virgin Islands.

It's just Ridiculous. Can we not have a tax paying owner who doesn't try to skip round the tax laws
