I never claimed to follow like a sheep, I offered my personal opinion on the matter and as you rightly said, it's not a subject that unites all sides. On the free-thinking side, I generally tend to form my own opinions rather than apply other peoples' theories/philosophies loosely to subjects that are vaguely related.

I see nothing wrong with it. If anything it improves the human race by ensuring unwanted kids are not forced to exist, often in a life of squalor. I believe being a parent is a huge responsibility, and it shouldn't be forced upon you because you had a drunked shag that went wrong.

On the tax/privacy issue you commented on, I think the main reason for wanting the rich to pay their taxes is that they're not playing by the rules when everyone else is. No one is asking for illegal monitoring of their assets, just that they actually pay tax. I know your hatred of tax (even though you have lots of kids) probably blinds you on this one, but it's ****ed, and a massive **** you to the rest of the world that plays by the rules.
