Real Madrid have confirmed they have signed Isco. Could this have an impact on any deal for Suarez? ...
When has one marquee signing stopped Real before. They have transfer splurges every few years where they will splash out on a few big names.
True but I get the impression that they want Bale/Cavani more than Suarez. Isco is the first big name to join, can only see one more big signing to join.
Suarez and his advisers seem to be making all the running in getting him to Real rather than the club pursuing him. Why wouldn't they buy him though (excluding the flaws in his temperament)? They've got the money to afford the luxury of benching star players.
Going to Real Madrid is not going to necessarily be the best move for Suarez. He may eventully regret it.
True but it's an opportunity to win titles (despite competing with Barca, Real are in a better position to challenge for silverware), play for the biggest club in the world and in one of the best stadiums in the world. His chances may be limited but a world class player like Luis should be aiming to play for such a team. Any professional in any industry would do the same.
Its very unlikely that Suarez will do better at RM, at LFC and for Uruguay he is the go to man, at RM that's always going to be Ronaldo, plus they have plenty more attacking options. Saying that he's still world class but would probably end up like Higuain a bit unnoticed, however he will undoubtedly get a shed load more money and guaranteed silverware.
How hard can it be to scroll down half a dozen threads? It's quite a specific one so I'd vote to leave it. it's bound to see some action in a while.
