So Sky offered you a half price package for what £20 a month for entertainment & sports?

 

If you're "debunking" something and the target of your "debunking" disagrees with you, I'm sure there's a word for that. Disagreement, possibly?

Now should the exchange of these two sets of views involve more than one counteract betwixt the two aforementioned subjects, they could be said to be "arguing" or "having an argument".


Even the phrase "I'm not arguing with you" whilst not expressing a similar opinion to the other involved party is, by its very nature, argumentative.

Tomorrow, Janet and John will move on from words and we'll learn about those funny little things called numbers.

I'm not for one minute saying that. I just think it is astonishing that Sky gave you such an excellent deal (£20 a month all in was it?) after you complaining on here about their service not being worth it.

My mate works for Sky - they have a team called the "winback" team - they offer you packages dirt cheap if you're thinking of leaving.

Even if there's a cost defecit, they'll give you it anyway as Sky get money from the government for every digibox in a home (in order to meet domestic internet connection targets agreed wi Europe).

So that guy says anyway.

I'm a Virgin customer, I cannae moan with the price I get for everything bundled.

 

I had sky for 2 years, full TV package for 25 quid a month.

First year my pal that works for sky offered me some deal then the year after my neighbour gave me the same deal.

Win.

 

I had the full package for 2 years and only after threatening to leave did they give me a deal and reduced the price.

I've never know them to contact people and offer the sports free of charge.

 

They do but I think it's usually only for 3 months to get you suckered in.

 

Maybe I was not clear enough? I have pointed you in the correct direction but I think Pud summed up my thoughts best on post 141.
