    Absolutely no sympathy whatsoever. I can't do footballer sob stories. I don't know if its ever the case of too much too young, it's just never enough.

    Probably thought he made it when Utd signed him. Too many players stop working hard at that point.

    He was on track to be the next Paul Elliott for us, classy Centre Back who could play the ball out of the back........ then he joined the Manure! Like Bostock (who is rumoured to be joining us ????) this is a stark warning to all young pros who think that in joining a big club (please take note Casey Palmer) they are guaranteeing their future!

    ..............and to their parents, whose heads get turned by the thought of having a star in the family(not to mentioned a large wedge to start with). Thank goodness some of them have sensible dads, like young Diego, whose dad told him to stay at Charlton.
