thanks for explaining it .. I get mixed up between both, but not sure about CR example, when bookies open the betting and give the odds the first time, there is no bet been placed prior to that, so it can't be based on the market money ( bcz there is no bet been placed )...thus it will be based on bookies prediction, isn't that correct? as far as i know you can't place a bet without having the odds been specified, so there must be some odds based on bookies prediction first, then that odds may be amended depending on market, am i right? another thing, if betting is related to market, doesn't then reflect majority people opinion? EX: if odds suggest CR will move to Real or UTD, it means that most people believe that , right?
if what i understood is right, then betting system reflect people opinion who place money on their opinion now to discuss if it was the wrong opinion or not , that is irrelevant tbh , you called us arrognat for thinking we are favorite to land CR, so if UTD are the bookies favorite to land CR, doesn't that mean it represent not only the UTD fans opinion but other people as well , so why should you call us arrogant then if majority share the same opinion?
You didn't say this though, did you? Bit different from being favourite into thinking that Ronaldo will definitely join you.
So Chelsea fans are banging on about beating us to some Dutch guy nobody cares about while we wait confirmation of Thiago. My how their standards have dropped.
What's the latest with Thiago? Thought you'd have it wrapped up by now but then read he was signing today. Has he been seen at OT or still all rumour?
we did i said he will definitely join us? yes we are favorite to get him for many obvious reasons many seem to share this opinion not only UTD fans, nothing to do with being arrogant
Barca trying a last ditch to convince him to stay, so who knows? according to news too, UTD are doing a last ditch too to hijack Chelsea bid of cavani (which seem to be at is final stages)..
You said 'this mean we will get CR .. so it is a win-win situation for us so hope he decided to leave'. You're basically saying he's joining you no matter what....
no ...what am saying is that if we missed out on Bale, then is not the end of the world as most probably Real will offload CR thus we can get CR instead .. so a win win situation for us .. all other stuffs you added from your head
Anyone else still freaked out by Shwans avatar? Hope we're not in for Cavani. If we were to sign another striker I'd prefer Lewandowski. He's cheaper, younger and I think he'll be a much better play. I imagine Thiago will be wrapped up by the end of next week. I believe Moyes came back to work this week, and officially takes over on the 1st of July.
Same with you and Van Ginkel - the usual "fee agreed, talks with manager, wages agreed, contract signed, agent says it's positive" media bs. Probably negotiating with both clubs, but when those negotiations will end is anyone's guess. Moyes only got back from holiday yesterday, so probably won't have had any face to face meetings with the lad until today.
Anyone else go on Sky Sports website today between 4.20 and 4.25pm? the lead story was Chelsea sign Cavani for £49million beating City and Madrid to his signiture. When i got home from work and looked again at 6.00pm it was gone, did they cock up or did i have a premonition?
Thiago has decided to join Manchester United on a five-year, £5 million-per-year deal, agreed by his father over the weekend in the north west. He will tell Barcelona of his decision in the coming days. Source: El Confidencial Tuesday, 25 June 2013 13:32
sure you never knows? but i don't think it will be the case with CR why he will choose another club, he love UTD, he knows UTD are a stable club who have a solid future with FFP and money wise Nike are ready to make him happy, so why he has to pick any other club?
I think Napoli's club radio said a deal had been agreed with Chelsea. Then Cavani's agent claimed this wasn't true and he was still talking to lots of clubs. As usual, SSN jammed their head up their arse and believed anything that anyone told them
