We are back in talks with Celtic for Gary Hooper after an initial £4m bid was turned down earlier this month
Can I make a request that in posts like this we quote the public source - in this case the HDM - rather than post it as if its inside knowledge? It makes a difference to how we, well me anyway, view them.

Say that £5m gets you Hooper or Austin, which do you choose? Personally, i'd go for Hooper. Really hope that we can get him.
Does that mean the board will be full of Scottish soon? (I was going to say jocks but didn't want Agro turning up and turning the thred into a racial debate)
I think that because we bidded 4 million for Hooper, turned down, so we bidded 4 million for Austin, turned down, Bruce must just be thinking he may as well go back for Hooper if he is going to have to pay more than 4 million. If it is turned down he will probably go back and bid for Austin again.
Probably. Although I'd like to see some more solid evidence that this is taking place before we start giving it large to the lads north of the wall.
Hdm says it's Celtic who have reopened talks as no one else in the prem is interesting and he won't sign a new contract at that wee big club up there
Robo. The origional post was a tad misleading as it didn't quote any source or even name a player! You will see that it has since been edited.
Celtic could be a revolving door soon. Forster - Wanyama - Hooper looking for the exit door. SSN saying that Wanyama waiting for permission to talk with Cardiff City. Oh shut up you dummy.
Lets have both and have done with it. Also we should add Billy Sharp for the paltry £1.2m Saints want for him. That would allow us to offload Fryatt if we got any bids of around the same price. Just a thought.
