I don't think he's actually said this, but he has mentioned how much he appreciated United and how it's still his home, and he's still friends with the people he played with here. I agree with this. I don`t think United is the ONLY club Ronaldo would go to, I think it is the only BRITISH club he would go to.

Metro is saying now Bale is ready to go and upset Spurs owner to make his dream move come true if Bale goes, i can see CR go the other way to UTD.. it is 50-50 at the moment why should Bale stay with Spurs when hit top form? who can guaranty he will be injury free next season or keep his form ? if I was Bale, i would be leaving .. may be with FFP machine kicking off this season and clubs getting their books examined, who can guaranty him that clubs like Real and others will be able to pay big money for him again after this season ?
my guess is NO, he will not sale as much shirt as CR atm but UTD have the money, we had 90-110m profits (pre tax and pre debt payment) in past seasons, and as UTD hit a new profit record figure in the first 3 months of the last season and set to a new record of profits, and if we add to that all our new deals from TV sponsors ..etc, UTD can be having 150m to spend, let us take out 45 (our yearly debt payment (that was the old figures we managed last seasons to reduce the debt further)), that will leave us still with more 100m to spend, not to mention money from sales of alike of Nani and others
Doubt Bale will actually go for that much. If Bale puts in a transfer request , it may start a biding war but I think Levy will try and get whatever e can for Bale.
