You sure?... "With Suarez scheduled to miss the first six games of next season after being *suspended for 10 games for biting Chelseaâs Branislav Ivanovic â a ban that would still be enforced if he left the Premier League â *Madrid are in no rush. That's absolute bullshit, and it is the Mirror. It is an FA imposed ban and nothing to do with La Liga. The FA would hope Real Madrid honour their ban but it is in no way an obligation. The worse case scenario I think is that the FA can, in theory, block his sale because he's banned in the UK. Ajax had banned Suarez when he joined us if you remember, didn't stop us playing him though
I believe Sir_Red may well be right. Its an FA ban this time (was the ajax one a dutch FA or an Ajax imposed one?? Not sure) and it wouldn't necessarily carry over to another FA. However, it is possible the FA of wherever he might go could choose to carry over and enforce the ban the English FA imposed as a form of solidarity. If its Madrid though it would likely get waived no doubt
Ajax banned him for two games and docked his wages, then the KNVB added a further seven matches to his ban. Joey Barton, naturally, managed to prove and disprove the theory that bans carry over - he was suspended for Ligue 1 matches, but not Europa League matches.
Are FIFA talking absolute bullshit?...you may need to look in the mirror to discover who is! http://www.itv.com/news/update/2013...ar-on-transfer-of-football-ban-to-new-league/
I suppose it would be a kind of ironic justice if Suarez's own skulduggery blows his precious move to Real out of the water!..
Nice little Love triangle going on here...... Suarez wants Real, but Real want Bale, Liverpool wants to keep Suarez and Spurs want to keep Bale. Personally I dont think that Real will go for Suarez as he is not marketable enough, (infact everyone outside of Liverpool fans and Uruguay detest the guy.lol) They want Bale, and you can see why, although as a player I would put him and Suarez as equally talented. Bale has the potential to be a true Galactico. Personally I hope Suarez stays at liverpool and Bale stays at Tottenham. But its win win for both of us either way. You lose Bale, you make mega profit, We lose Suarez we make mega profit. Unfortunately, irony is preparing to boot someone in the bollocks. If you keep Bale, he will no doubt get horrifically injured at the start of next season. If we keep Suarez he will also end up being out for an extended period of time. (Whether this will be injury or other is not clear.)
Sewerez will end up leaving the Mousers in the last week of the window for a fee of anywhere between £28m - £35m, they will want more but nobody will be prepared to pay it so they will eventually compromise.
Mousers are up to £23m spend on four players. Mignolet is an improvement on Reina, Toure will do a job, the other two are slightly unknown. Anyone worried that they might be making progress? They were already looking better towards the end of the season.
They'e definitely on the up and it's very worrying indeed. They're a huge price to get tiop 4 this season but it's not the worst bet i've heard of.
Absolutely not, all they are doing is buying up mediocrity. Toure is an over the hill mercenary, Alberto probably another Borini and Aspas a bench warmer at best, Mignolet is about as good as Reina. They will tread water with these signings, nobody there to take them up a level and Goofy (along with his profitable gamesmanship) will be sold, Sturridge will always be inconsistent.
Toure is an improvement on that oaf Carragher, and Reina has been dreadful the last few seasons, whereas Mignolet was lauded for his performances last year.
It's hard to say with Liverpool as I've not seen(or knowingly seen) anyone other than Mignolet and Kolo play. Mig's definitely a smart signing, Reina's not the player he was 3/4 years ago when, in my opinion, he was the best in the league. Toure's a decent player also, we'll just have to see how the rest do, Rodgers' signings have been mixed so far.
Kolo, drugs and mouseland, sounds a recipe for disaster to me. "my sister gave me the 'summer cold' your Honour", Sewerage already appears to get an attack of 'the munchies' half way through a game.
The issue is, if Suarez stays, the chances are he will find another way of ****ing up and getting a lengthy ban. This will mean that Liverpool will be high and dry again and without a quality replacement. Far better to cut him loose, cash in and replace him with somebody you'll get a whole season out of.
