http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-23004880 Having stated that, the betting sites seem to offer (presumably) licensed access provided you open an account for a few quid and regardless of whether you bet or not. I guess they think you will bet eventually.
try changing DNS servers or use a proxy, it took me all of 20 seconds to get around TPB block. There's dozens more sites anyway.
In our last Championship season, Bet365 streamed many of our games, likely because we were at, or near the top of the league most of the season - last season I noted many Cardiff & Crystal Palace games were also streamed. To setup an account at Bet365 was more complicated than I thought it would be - they had to first verify my banking & credit card info, then they required my passport # to confirm my identity which I found a bit odd. They doubled up on my initial deposit of $50 when I opened the account, so I had $100 of "chips" to play with and still have have the occasional flutter on a few matches, plus Eddie's Greyhound picks (Derby winner Blonde Snapper @ 10/1 netted me $100). Last season I blew most of my accrued winnings, placing small wagers on us to win or draw games at great odds when we were one or two goals down, that never happened! Of course you have then have to explain to your curious/nosey wife why you are watching a football game on a betting website, as she thinks you have a gambling addiction! I almost feel she would be less concerned if it was a porn website!
Pace of life is slower, and much more emphasis on holiday and weekends off! I am most certainly not DT. I'm daverangers...always have been, always will be.
Oh well...one down 387 to go! Found bet365 really easy. No passport of 50 quid deposit either. i wonder if thats because I'm abroad... Now, how many korean, asian site do you think there are....?
So am I. The $50 (£33) initial deposit was my choice, since they also credited you with an equivalent amount when opening new accounts (so $100). For identity, I believe they required proof that I wasn't an American citizen, or living in USA - not sure though?
Oh yes. Can't just tune to ESPN or Fox Soccer to watch the Hoops this season. On the bright side, I get to text again with my on-line buddies from the Championship days or yore.

Rumours are SKy may show some games free while the BT live games are on. Its typical of them being anticompetitive dicks and I dont think it will be FTA, just on a channel with a basic subscription.
In a way, if every game was online for free less people would go to games. But tickets shouldn't be so expensive.
Wait until our games are shown, there will always be links then. No point making the sites more known and then giving them 2 months to close them down before the season starts.
