A little sidenote perhaps if it does happen, how pleasing for a Barca player to tell Madrid that Bale is staying because he's signing for us!
Sess here and Ade to Sunderland would be crappy mistakes. Ade needs to quit the country and I wouldn't want anybody who has played for Sunderland, I've never rated them or anything to do with them.
I'd simply rather have Ade than Sess - he had a crappy season last year, doesn't mean he's destined to be crap for ever.
Villas-Boas has given an interview today with O Jogo. He says that he's been told that Levy won't even look at proposals for a transfer of Bale. I'm sure that will end all speculation in the media and we won't hear anyone from Madrid mention him again this summer. Ahem...
For some reason the Torygraph are listing Paulinho as a completed transfer. That's news to Spurs, Corinthians and Paulinho... It's like Marca, but Portuguese and Porto-centric.
I have just listed Messi and Lewandowski as done deals, in biro, on the wall of the toilet cubicle at work Excellent work DL and Baldini, keep it up.
Thanks. What do i need to read to get my Spurs-centric news? Other than the not606 transfer thread that is.
As HBIC says, it's a Portugese sports paper. There is a six page interview with AVB in it. I don't speak Portugese - people think it's the same as Spanish - it isn't...
That's the thing with sports papers -in Italy, the Gazetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport may be Rome-based but the journalism is in-depth and unbiased (the fact that the Gazetta exposed Juventus, the Milan clubs, Lazio and Fiorentina for their role in the Calciopoli scandal pretty much underlines it) whilst L'Equipe in France and Kicker in Germany are equally unbiased. The problem is every other country does have bias towards certain teams: Spain - Marca with Real Madrid, Diario with both Madrid clubs, El Mundo and Sport with Barca Portugal - O Jogo with Porto, A Bola with Benfica, Record with Sporting England - The Sky Empire with Man Utd Scotland - Daily Record with The Old Firm (Rangers fans say it's Celtic-centric, Celtic fans say it's Rangers-centric) Iran - Persepolis with Persepolis (which is pretty blatant...)
Victor Zapata-Caicedo is on trial with Sunderland - so that pretty much guarantees he'll score against us next season. Come to think of it, the OP does need a bit of updating...
