Schmeichel has moved quickly to put any transfer request rumours to rest:

Of course, this doesn't mean he won't leave, merely that he is not looking to engineer a move away. I think this is positive, as he hasn't got the hump that we keep swatting away bids from Hull City.

    Exactly.

He's in no rush to leave for a club like Hull.

I'm amazed that he felt the need to make a statement about something posted by some clown on Twitter with 300 followers.

These things can snowball. The rumour mill on Twitter is the most ludicrous thing I've ever seen from a transfer perpsective. I think he's just pre-empted any undue panicking or over-reaction. Plus, he's maybe worried his employers might read something in to it.

You will come in with a ****ty bid knowing we would turn it down. Kasper throws his toys out the pram and you sign him on the cheap

We told you the price. Kasper isnt that interested in signing for you.

He hasn't got the option, we moved on last week.

Maybe you should do the same.

    Petty little man. <laugh>

Why is this such a sore point for you OLM? Hull's Premier League ambition should not revolve around Schmeichel or any one player for that matter.

If you've moved on why are you reacting this way?

I'm not trying to wind you up. A lot of Leicester fans would probably love to swap places with Hull right now.

I never wanted to sign Schmeichel, as I've posted repeatedly on your board.

We announced we were signing Allan McGregor last week, we're no longer in for Schmeichel, there was no reason to link us to this story.

Other than Proud's continued desperate attempts to try and get one over on Hull City, obviously.

To be fair, you mentioned us in your OP.

But you're right, it's not really of interest. <ok>

It's not that thats the problem.

It's the thousands of people (Hull and Leicester fans) who saw that tweet who decided to flood his twitter feed with questions.

    Two points.

Firstly, and without looking it up, I assume you havn't signed McGreggor yet? Otherwise you'd have said you have signed him therefore meaning you're still on the look out.

Second, Hull have been the only team to bid for him (to the publics knowledge) as of yet. Of course there is a reason to link you to the story you moron.

Are you pleased with the signing of McGreggor?

I know i'd be pissed off. As Hull fans kept telling us, 'there are plenty of cheaper options' with regards to Schmeichel. McGreggor probably being the worst available.

Going on your opinions on our previous signings, if you think they're ****, they're probably brilliant. So cheers! <ok>

Surely you can't be excited/pleased/happy signing Alan McGregor as your first choice 'keeper to help keep you in the Premiership?

    1. He hasn't signed yet .
    2. Who is to say he will be first choice .
    3. He is no worse than schmeichel , infact given his pedigree is less of a risk than signing junior.

Apologies, OLM said you had announced last week that you had signed him. And why would he join to be number 2?

Oh, while we're here Fettis... What happened to your 100% trustworthy source from inside the club, who said Kasper was absolutely dying to join the mighty Hull, and couldn't possibly resist the temptation?

I stand by everything he said , which was IF a deal could be agreed he would be interested in joining us , however no deal was reached , as for mcgregor he wouldn't want to be a number 2 but neither will the other goalkeeper we will look to sign .
