Rowan Vine has been unexpectedly released from St Johnston. I thought he was very good for us when we had him on loan. He's 30 now,but that doesn't make him over the hill. Scored a great goal against Celtic last season. I'd like MA to consider him.

Definitely worth a trial at the least, would be a very good striker but where will he fit in if we sign both Cody and German?

Shame about Drury, sort of player I would like us to sign, also local lad.

I am wondering if we may sign Neal Bishop, ex Notts county and Barnet player. He plays in midfield and is 31 years old. He seems like the sort of player that Martin Allen would sign, also with him managing him at County I could see this happening.

Let's think why...Notts County...31...oh yeah I see the connection <laugh>...how many days to go before we can start up the youth v experience debate again? <whistle>

A debate which has surely had its time... was the promotion not vindication enough for MA's selection policy last year?

    and if we get relegated?

of course I'm thinking on a follow up headline title, something that Lenny and the gang can really get their teeth into, maybe a sequel...

'youth v experience part 2 - The follow up years'

or maybe just drop the youth altogether <laugh> and title it...

'smashing league one with experience' <whistle>

of course the title needs some work but I'm sure with a little help from members we can work on it ;)

If anyone is thinking of stealing this title sensation, forget it, I own all copyright and am prepared to sue.

brb - did you mention litigation ? - well regarding ownership rights to the title, I for one, will not take the 'wind' out of your sails. You would 'breeze' through any court case against me.

    OK! so what's going on?

Having been on the boat for the last couple of weeks (no internet) where are all the signings, only one I can see is some guy who I watched last year and can't remember a thing about him, that and someone called Kelso who's left me a private message and would like me to get in touch.

It's all going to end in tears.

You didn't hear about us signing Hesky on a 3 year deal then? Wants to resurrect his England career

Ah Kelso, it was all going so well, until alwaysright got out the cling film, after his neighbourly injuction, he thought all drafts had to be excluded <laugh>

What if we get youngsters in and get relegated brb?
Will that be your fault? ;)

And so far, we've only got in a relatively young Linganzi, and very young Harry Grant (has that officially happened yet?). As well as removing the not-so-young Framps.

Personally, I think MA is paying far too much attention to you brb. Do you have a hold over him? :)

Just don't trust him as a keeper, don't want to have to play him if Nelson is unavailable.

Thing is Hoadie you haven't really backed your reasoning up. He played in four games for us last season which is the most he's probably played in the last 3 years. He's hardly ever been given a chance by anyone and thus he's lacking confidence. Southampton fans judged him on 45 minutes of a pre-season match. Its still very hard to judge him on such a low number of games. If Mad Dog rates him then perhaps he actually isn't that bad?

Gavin Tomlin would be a decent signing, would be happy to see him back.
