Gutted that Suarez isn't playing v Tahiti. could have bagged 4 or 5 and bumped his transfer value up by another couple of million. 2 goals in first 2 minutes in both games. Looks like a comfortable night for both Spain & Uruguay.
It's a shame about Tahiti because with the ball they're a half decent team. They try and play football and look quite good in the middle of the pitch. Lack a bit of invention in the final third but at least they offer some sort of threat unlike some teams you see. Only problem is they are shocking at the back. You'd hope they would go away and try and practice defending and learning when to drop off and defend the 18 yard box rather than try and catch everyone offside etc.
bad 2 minutes for Scotti. First steps up and misses the penalty then goes and commits a foul and gets a second yellow to get sent off
I love that most of the Spanish players on the bench are the PL based ones...clearly we buy the second rate Spaniards. Although tbh, the Spanish bench would smash our national team comfortably
Yeah,they have created loads of decent chances. What they obviously lack is a genuine goalscorer,a cutting edge.
Don't believe that for a second. Can't believe the club would not tell him, knowing full well that he's appearing live on TV Probably just saying it to try and get some sympathy and use it in his appeal. 2 more goals for Suarez, add another couple of million to his price tag. £42mil now
