Oh dear Oberon, what a bitter little tosser you are, have a look who went through to the next round? Yes it was Chelsea and again you have demonstrated why you and your minions are a complete waste of space.
I am afraid District does know his history: better than you it seems. Chelsea v Barca. W5 D5 L5 United w3 D4 L4 District clearly did not say or specify we had a better record in terms of ties won. You twisted that to suit your argument.
Now the owners of Swansea are Pioneers. Taking the club from nowhere to near the top whilst playing attractive football. Roman Abramovich just spends a **** load of money. He is no pioneer, he is just loaded and has a plaything. Has it improved Chelseas marketability and support? For sure Yes, but you can do anything with limitless cash. Anyone with his money could have had the same impact. Thats not having a go at your club or the man.
many have tried and failed. Not agreeing with the article per-se but you can't deny how good he's been for Chelsea.
Absolutely, over the last ten years he has been one of the most influential figures in world football. However, improving fortunes with money is not exactly a pioneering achievement, It has been done since the invention of currency. If Roman had come in and done what he has done for Chelsea just by insisting that all the players worked to a specific regime then I would suggest his work has been pioneering. Incredibly influential, but not pioneering.
He was obviously alluding to games. Swarbs desperately twisted the facts to prove his point, possibly because a certain person has got inside his head about United's poor record v in-form marquee clubs in Europe. But I could not possibly imagine who that could be
misinformed. Try 20 minutes from going out of the league and penniless that we had to take buckets around on match days to collect money to go towards players wages.......that is the truth......from that day to this has nothing to do with a sugar daddy who has limited cash and buys success in dribs and drabs but shear hard work building the club back up. we have had some good scouts and good managers that never earned much in comparison to their colleagues in other clubs.....We are where we are because of who we are and the type of football we have adopted and we keep our policies of what we will spend on any player. we are an example of how a club should be run that we are often used now as a benchmark for other clubs.....we never bought success we worked hard for it...
We got to the premiership by spending very little, the players were bought for a pittance, the most we spent was 1.5m to you for scott sinclair, our record buy is hernandez for 5.5m and we bought him last summer. so in premiership terms our spending is a fraction of what the top ten teams are spending
You're not seriously suggesting Swansea have bought their way to the top flight in the way that Chelsea have funded their decade of success, are you? That would be deluded nonsense I'm afraid.
They've got a point. I am a prick who spouts utter nonsense which I've invented as fact. ****, in a word. A tedious, boring ******.
