If it's been confirmed in Monica, then obviously I withdraw my comment.

Nope, he's a kid with a big ego and big wage. Not someone we need really.

    Yes.

He's a good player and he was free, so Reading have themselves a bargain.

I don't think they count. They play under the English FA not FIFA. So theoretically he should be eligible for England.

Although he may boast a better international career with the Isle of Wight, they once beat Sark 20-0.

Maybe Tickler is the kid from the music video for that annoying, overplayed song that just goes "La-la-la"?

I have no inside info, but I do like to make stuff up and post pithy responses to people who do claim special knowledge. Can I join your thread?

    Please.

Instead of all this bickering, can someone please invent a possible transfer rumour that I can dwell on for a couple of days. Any plausible player will do, with a spurious but vaguely likely source.

You know, the "my Dad works in the ticket office at Old Trafford and he heard David Moyes say "we've lost out to Hull City on the Rooney deal" type of thing.

    Thank you (in advance).

Actually the Star and Garter, Rayner was the Landlord so known as "Rayners Place" Your Dad was right, you could get anything there (and I mean anything) so I wouldn't tell your Mum he went in there.

My workmates and I went on a night out in Hull, they led me into the Star and Garter... I never knew it was a Gay Club <laugh>

    Strange experience... <yikes>

According to Phil Buckingham, it's proving a little bit harder than thought in getting Austin and Elmo should be an official Hull City player next week...

@PJBuckingham RE Austin, Burnley making life far more difficult than #hcafc envisaged. Burnley have a valuation and it's not moving
@PJBuckingham Pretty sure we'll see Elmo complete his £2m move next week. Looks to be a formality.

I don't know about you, but I don't think I could stand another "blow your socks off" situation.
