Bad news for ex-pats who use this stream quite a lot. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-23004880 The US authorities tried to close down ADTHE who streamed games from around the world. They simply moved off shore where they couldn't be tiuched.
One for the teachers on here. Yeah, there is a problem. Teachers are being put under far too much pressure by parents who refuse to take responsibility for their children.
lol everyone here knows i turned 50 in September, i still get excited about birthdays night night sweetpea, sweet dreams
night night all, up very early tomorrow..have to be at UAE for the uni visit with Miss Hornette at 9.30...gawd...why me! lol See you soon!
Morning all from a wet Jersey. jerzeypie is currently doing the round the island walk and at a rough guess should have definitely got past the breakfast checkpoint which is after 10.9 miles (almost 17.5km). My guess is based on his usual walking pace, but he's walking with 3 friends and I've no idea what their pace is. He bought 3 large bars of chocolate with him when he came here yesterday evening. I assume that they are meant for eating on the walk, but they are currently in the fridge. Not surprising he left them here as the walk starts at 3am.
Morning all from a damp start in bandit country. My gardening chores have been a little delayed, but it has started to brighten up, so will need to crack on.
The Post Office have issued a set of 11 first class stamps showing football heroes, our very own John Barnes is on one of them. Use it on all your mail if you can afford them
So if you receive a letter with a stamp on it and someone's been at it with the felt tips you'll know what team they support
I used to have a postie who is a scummer - he used to love delivering my away tickets...he doesn't do out village anymore which is a shame
Evening all, just waiting for Mrs W_Y to get ready as we are going out. My mates son, who grew up with Little Miss W_Y, is going to live out in Canada...he is having a surprise leaving party. He cannot find employment with his business degree in this country.
I dont have a healthy respect for degree holders these days , most of the schemes coming from our management ( degree holders no real world experience ) are killing the company
well that was a knackering day...to East Anglia Uni and back...up at 5.30 for Miss Hornette, and it seems it's got her mind in a tizz as to what to do..i shouldn't be surprised, i had a feeling seeing a university might freak her out! lol. Trouble is, they've raised the grade boundaries since this year's applicants...and she will probably struggle now, so we're back to the drawing board...hey ho! Hope you've all had a good day.
I feel sorry for her. Its a horrible process. I was very lucky to meet and make friends on the open day so it made my decision easy.
