The Osvlado rumours have spread like wildfire across the Italian press. €20 million being the asking price supposedly.
We will smash the transfer record once again if this one pulls off.
Anyone remember Rory Delap - £4 million !

I just can't see Osvaldo coming here, I really can't.
 
I'm thinking (or hoping) that the Osvaldo thing is one of the many lazy media links, the kind of 'he used to play for Poche, he's probably leaving Roma, we're probably after a striker, let's throw it all together and create an imaginary fee and we have ourselves a story' link. For a player with such a high risk factor I would feel very uneasy about that fee, but he is a classy player for sure so if we did sign him my trust in Nicola and Maurico would still hold firm and I'd give him a chance.

I think this is probably the case, although the big money signing from Italy that was being touted does seem to fit the bill. I can't see Pochettino agreeing to have him unless he thought he could work with him, but still! If he came here I'm extremely confident he'd score over 20 goals in a season.
