I used to slate McShane when he played for us...every pass was poor, tackling mistimed, positioning sloppy, square head etc etc but in all honesty I think he was one of our better players last season when he got back in the side....he was fairly solid defensively and ran his socks off, got stuck in and made MoM on several occasions so I doubt we can all be right when thinking he is ****e.

I for one would give him the bench next season...he can do a job.

Bruce however I think mid championship is his level. His problem for me is he is a frustrated attacking midfielder without the skills to not only pick out a pass but to actually pass it too. His distribution is shocking but he gives 100% which is what we need.

Hobbs is a good footballer, he is cool under pressure, reads the game well and misses little if anything in the air. I would certainly give him a chance but my concern would be that he makes michael turner look quick and will get found out if turned quickly by a quality striker.

Chester will only get better.

Faye has the experience to do ok defending. he will rely on a faster partner at centre back because he has no real pace.

we need a solid partnership at centre back and I think with Davis coming in, Bruce will rely on Chester as his main partner with perhaps Faye, Bruce and McShane on the bench.

We lack strikers as we all know. Nothing we have currently will make the grade however I think Prozzy might do OK if he gets the distribution but in all fairness we need a proper striker to play off Aluko. If Aluko gets another injury, were doomed because we relied on him so much last season.

Finally, our wingers are sound but I recon Bruce will get Brady to play off the striker too depending on formation but with Brady and Aluko we have a lot of pace and skill...just a lump to hold the ball up....where is a young Windass when you need one.

Calm down. I'm not on here to entertain you. If you post all this stuff expecting loads of praise you have to be able to take it when someone calls bullshit on you too. Stop being so precious. Figueroa signing wasn't a secret. If it turns out we did sign a striker two days ago but it still isn't released by the club for some reason then your source will have my respect, but not because you predicted we might sign Figueroa which everyone knew anyway. (though I don't know why you need it so much anyway).

 

So because you dont ask or not told you dont post, But would post if you was told?
