Highly unlikely. That claim has already been rubbished by Corinthians. The story is that it was an excuse given to Shaktar as Paulinho didn't want to go there.

Maybe, or could be a ploy from Corinthians to start a bidding war, which wouldn't happen if pre-contract was agreed.

Of course Corinthians want a bidding war. As you would expect, if they are going to sell the player they want as much money as they can get!. We can't afford to get in a bidding war - but then neither can Inter.

Both? I think we'll see a few midfielders leave the Lane this season.

Judas wants the under 21 job? <doh>

It says a huge amount about the arrogance of the man that he thinks he's a worthy candidate for such a role, given his total lack of managerial experience.

Blanc is getting the PSG job, by all accounts. It'll be interesting to see how long his contract is for.

Capello turned it down because he thought he was just keeping the seat warm for Whinger, who is their main choice

Mandala actually seems like a good buy, as he can (supposedly...) play central midfield, defensive midfield and centre back, so for £3m he looks a decent prospect.

That and the Russian mafia would kill him if he walked away from the Russia job. Which reminds me, Hitman is on later. Awesome.

Several twitter sources are saying that Paulinho is a done deal.

    Parker's replacement (or Thudd's)?

It just need one big transfer - Bale to Utd, let's say - and that Magic Roundabout will really start spinning.

Dougal, Florence, Dylan and Zebedee do sound like daft names for Brazilian footballers.

    Not Mr Rusty though.

Keep dreaming. We wouldn't sell modric to Chelsea so I doubt you'll have an offer accepted for bale with Madrid willing bidders, and that's without "the relationship"

All sorts of other bollox on HITC. Some geezer called Boulabouza and another called Eriksen. Some ex Dago player from Brazil has urged Damiao to snub us and go to Napoli. Nothing about Paulinho though. First team or squad player is what they're asking. Will AVB go if Bale is sold etc etc blah blah blah.

If/when Bale goes it will be abroad. None of the English clubs are that much of a step up, IMO. It would be a waste for Bale.

He's had his best season and the important thing now is for him to relax and get ready for Spurs. There shouldn't be any pressure on him to stay or leave. If/when he feels the time is right then he'll go, won't be this summer though (not unless Levy is prepared to lose AVB as well).
