No other country has such TV income and such high prices. If anything sky's money is pushing prices ever higher. These foreign stars in general are not in England for the challenge.

Sky and the EPL has taken over the games ability to govern itself here. TV is the master. In Germany it is not, and football is in a healthier state for it.

No. It is the opposite. Tickets were cheaper before Sky dominated the game.

Edit .. Old un's how much did we pay minus inflation?

Not been a season ticket holder for yonks so couldn't really work it out but the cost of season tickets in general in the EPL has increased above the level of inflation since they have been rolling in TV money, but what do you expect when even average players from abroad are offered £100K and more a week to play over here what do you think clubs would pay to get Messi and or Ronaldo over here £300K a week?.

I paid € 15 (euros) for a front of stand seat level with penalty area in the Berlin Olympic stadium October 2011 to watch Hertha v Mainz.

Season tickets in Portugal cheaper for Porto and Benfica than BCFC

About 12 quid so today would be 13-14 quid allowing for euro inflation and exchange rate fluctuation
