Just take a look at Wolves shiny new stand with league 1 football.

I love the idea of turning up and being able to pay on the gate but selling out 25k is better than selling 25k in a 32k stadium (at the moment).

This premier league ride could be a short one, bigger clubs have tried and failed so lets get every penny out of what we have rather than over-spending on non essential seating every week.

Even Man City are looking to increase capacity in increments. 7,000 over the next 18 months then another 7,000 the next 18 months.

I would rather see world class training facilities, a decent team with tickets in short supply than a 2/3 full ground and the crap training facilities we have now.

I don't really think there's anyone who doesn't think we'd be better off it we'd got at least 30,000 seats already, I just don't see any realistic chance of that happening in the short term. I also think that improving the training facilities is a more more pressing need.

I think the forced move from the Club to "Hull Tigers" is disrespectful and shows a distinct lack of understanding of our culture.

Knock it on the head, it's naff.

Totally agree, we barely scraped 17,000 in most games last year, which is pathetic. We should be spending the money helping our youth players get the best out of their potential instead of making our already great ground look better for visiting fans.

I don't think that our young lads get the best deal playing in that ****ty north east league against Gateshead and Chesterfield, we need an academy and decent training facilities.

Spot on, in an ideal world we'd have a bigger stadium but at present there's far more important ways to spend that money.

The club is at its healthiest we have ever been right now so it’s time to extend our horizons in all directions to ensure this golden era we are in continues. That includes a little bit of everything suggested. Why rule anything out of the vision?
In the short term 1000 extra seats, new pitch, improved training facilities, additional investment alongside the Allam’s, Premier League survival and finally beat Liverpool. In the medium term win the hearts and minds of everyone of every generation in our fanbase, improve atmosphere by implementing safe standing, win the FA or League Cup, establish an academy. In the longer term build East Stand Upper, expand our fanbase, established Premier League club, open re-scaled sports village, compete in Europa League, fulfil sleeping giant potential by 2020.

Hull City need to do a Stoke City and be a PL club for the next few years. Selling out 25k+ to the proper capacity and each season putting away a few million quid to help pay for increasing the KC capacity. Rome was not built in a day and sadly many City fans think it was. Slow but effective progress for sure year on year.

With out question we need to improve the school of excellance. We have it all in place but need the envrionment. Stoke City did the same thing over 2 years ago.

The majority of clubs in the Premier League are one season away from relegation. I would say there's only 6 clubs who are guaranteed to not get relegated next season and maybe another six who are unlikely to get relegated.

We shouldn't rule out anything that will help the club in the long term. But of course some things will be harder to do than others.

Trouble is the 25404 capacity will never be reached with local plods idea of segregation and a full house will be circa 24500 - unfortunately not big enough whichever way you look at it.

Can't we expand the capacity by a couple of thousand quite easily by adding extra rows of seats?
Thats the first step we should take.
We should be doing this now.
Once the season starts we will sell out every home game.

Back on the marketing side, just over a year ago I was looking to take a year out and go on a placement, so had a meeting with George Hudson, and he told me that his budget wouldn't even cover travel expenses for me to go to the KC for a year from Hedon, which shows the limits of the budgets. I did some stuff for free for him for a while but there was no money to implement it either.

I might have to watch this. Half the "away" side is full of Pass Holders! Fans vs legends, what an opportunity that would be.

It was a couple of weeks ago at a season pass holders event, playing a game of tag rugby on the pitch at the KC before it all got dug up.
