Apparently Villa want £12-15 million. However Kenny is offering £37 million plus Ngog. Picking transfer bargains up is Kenny's hobby.

 

KPR's first post on an article about Ashley Young was about a man utd protest a year ago and now there is another boring argument. Why do you always do it?

 

37 million plus david n'gog amounts to about 12 to 15 million though.

 

Man United are offering £15 million plus Owen Hargreaves which means that Man United will have to pay Aston Villa £45 million.

 

Plus another 10 for his medical bills

 

And another £5 million for wheelchairs and crutches.

 

I'd have taken Downing when Rafa wanted him and I think he's gotten better. Similar stats to Young and Villa fans should know who's contributing more.

I'm taking the Utd rejection of Young's fee with a pinch of salt. We pitched low for Suarez initially and the summer's just begun. Utd have had a season of not spending the Ronaldo money so can probably afford to loosen the purse strings a little.

Usurpng Utd to a target would be very FSG. They've done it to the Yankees before.

Im not sure on Ashley Young, hes one of them signings who could turn out to be really good, or not so good

Would Defo prefer Hazard,Mata or Sanchez

 

Id like to see Young at Liverpool but if we arn't his first choice then im not overly bothered, good player but i feel we would end up paying over the odds just because hes english. I would rather have Mata if i had to choose and possibly even Downing over him. Ideally Mata on the left Lennon on the right!

 

There could be a bit of a problem when it comes to signing either Young or Downing..They want to play in the CL.However,Kenny could pull a similar stunt to the one Shanks pulled when he signed the Saint and Ron Yeats back in 1961.They said they wanted to play in the first division and Liverpool were a 2nd division team.He said we will be in the first division next season,thats what I need you for.Kenny wants either or both to get back in the CL.If he didn't want either of those or similar players to get back in the CL,then he shouldn't be manager,and of course he does thats why he is manager.

 

Monkey Hargreaves? Is that a term the fans coined for him because he walks funny?

Certainly that is too expensive for his wheelchairs and crutches.

 

They are electric wheelchairs,as his legs don't work and he needs state of the art crutches,as the normal ones would never be good enough.
