When I was a marshal at Brands hatch, the longest I had to wait was 2hrs and 30 odd minutes. They don't like to risk anything, took 2 hours to get him out and another wait for the barrier to get fixed. Missed the crash, tuned in for the safety car period and haven't seen a replay. Hope he's ok though, they're reporting that he was at least conscious.

Simonsen has died from that crash. When Olly was talking about it, it sounded bad, i didn't realise it was that bad.
Apparently one of the Eurosport reporters touched some damage on the back of one of the cars whilst it was stopped in the pits. Technically, that's grounds for the car to be disqualified. Going to be interesting to see if that happens.
