Things to know about Canada you might of forgot last year: ---McLaren had the F-duct, Red Bull didn't. ---Vettel had gear box problems with 20-21 laps to go, having to nurse the car home. ---McLaren won't be able to get away with underfueling Lewis this time. ---Button was matching Lewis towards the end.
I don't think predicting a Mclaren 1-2 or 1-3 is too far fetched. Its a track that suits the McLaren design and a track that suits Hamilton and Button. Vettel and Alonso will obviously be up there, as will Rosberg (in my eyes). Should be a good close race
I hate how Vettel is dominating this season, I always thought of F1 as a sport where anyone could win on any given day. But it is becoming a sport of dominant entities at the top and dwindling fixtures making up the numbers at the bottom.
I had forgotten the 1st 2. The 1st 3 certainly make a McLaren win look much harder this time. As for Button marching towards Hamilton, I seem to remember him cruising and every time Button got close Hamilton pulled out a gap again
Wellll.........As we know the tyres are different this year, so it will be interesting to see them fair out again.
This race is possibly the hardest to call, the 4 obvious choices are Vettel, Alonso, Hamilton and Button, but who knows how Renault and Mercedes will fare?
Who knows... May I also use this post to direct people to our house rules at the top of the F1 page. Nothing to serious, just keeps things ticking over nicely without abuse or shackles. There, that saves me two posts
what has the 4th one got to do with anything?some drivers ease off towards the end of a race if they dont feel threatened.im sure if lewis needed to extend his lead he could have. anyway we'll see what happens.
Ironically, in Monaco the S and SS have been lasting the longest over the season. I think it wont degrade massively, maybe the same as last year.
Went for Lewis despite the 5 out of 6 for Vettel. Good track for McLaren, good track for Lewis and hel probably come out with a point to prove. Just hoping Ferrari might be up to the task like last year. Canada usually throws up a good race so if Monaco was a thriller, bring it on!
