Might as well not have any subs if that's the standard! If Proschwitz makes the 18 at any point next year I might weep

I've a feeling some people may end up eating humble pie with the German. Don't rule him out just yet, he looks a good player it just hasn't happened for him so far. A lot of players from foreign leagues take. 1/2/3 seasons to adjust to the English game, there's still plenty of time yet.

I actually agree with you, he could well flourish yet, and probably pre-season will be an indicator if he is in SB plans.

Phil Buckingham Live on Humberside has told Mike White that the Curtis Davies deal is close and will be for cash only.

I would like to see Fryatt and Proschwitz paired together during the pre-season games to see what might have happened last season at least ?

On the final day, Proschwitz looked pretty good and ran all day. I got laughed at when I said he would probably be more suited to the EPL than the Championship, but I stand by that. You don't score some of the goals he scored without having talent (Ipswich header and Leyton Orient in the cup). And lets remember, he actually played very little, often 7 mins at the end of a game when we were in trouble. Simpson got plenty of chances and playing time and didn't manage much (imo).

Of course - let's not worry about getting some new signings in and gelling them together with the others. Let's just play whatever team the Tickler fancies seeing so he can tell us if they're as bad as he thinks <doh>

I'd be tempted to play Dudgeon at LWB and push Brady further up

To be honest, I was a bit surprised with him on the final day, I thought it was by far his best performance for us, though I'm still not convinced he's anywhere near good enough.

We should at least keep him for next season and see how he does, his wage won't bother us too much and if he has to go he will be sold as a player with Prem experience - however limited that may have been.

Don't know why but i still would like to see him have a chance. Just feel he just might have something to show.

I'm even less sure now, when your compilation highlights are mainly down to keeper errors, it's a worry.
