Conversely, the outcome of our late games v Arsenal, Chelsea and man Ure may have a big say in determining where the title ends up. Their destiny could well be in our hands <ok>

I tried to offer a simple analogy that he might grasp - but hey, you guessed it <doh>
Surely parachute payments give the 3 relegated sides a massive financial advantage next season? Able to sign players Bournemouth etc can only dream of? He won't have it.

<head against the wall emoticon> Bah!

Supers, to save any falling out next close season, can you please advise us which clubs you wish to ignore from the league table next season because they have too much money?

That way there is no more arguments and we can all live happy ever after.

I did mention this some time ago but was never honored with a response <ok>

If you were to look through the past 10 years of Premier league tables there have actually been quite a few winners, runners up and 3rd & 4th placed finishes from some unlikely names. Bolton & Blackburn picking up some major silverware in that time <laugh>

i think that's perfectly fair. teams like charlton and bolton did bloody brilliantly to finish that high. and what did they do after that? did they manage to break into the top four, five or six? no - THAT has been my point all along. teams like norwich are now unable to break into the top group because its basically a closed shop, unless you happen to have a sheik. it was a very different league when ipswich finished 5th - the champions league has changed everything in the past five or six years.

it was a top three at one point - then a top four - now its a top six, maybe top 7 if everton maintain their consistency under martinez

Have Guru and his lap dog gone now? Can we stop amusing ourselves by letting them think they are class wummers?
