i personally would say Alderweireld as he is less injury prone. most would probably go for Papa as he is probably the better player, but how much game time would we get out of him compared to Alderweireld?

need a settled back 4 and an injury prone defender for me is a worry.

 

I don't know a great deal about either TBH but from what I've read I'd say Papa because of his heading ability

Alderweirald is a right sided Agger. I think he would be a great addition to the squad however we need Papa (or a Papa like defender). He is a beast, a leader and someone who is vocal which is what we're lacking.

 

A father-donkey-lizard would be very beastly.

I will hold my hands up and say never even heard of him before we were linked but have seen and heard of Alderweireld. I would prefer Aldo myself.

 

Not looked at any of the links, just the names. Cardozo is a bit of an odd one, not your typical BR type of player.

 

Papa is only 21 but already an established centre back at Schalke with a wealth of experience including Champions League. He had some of the best figures in the Bundesliga (for defenders) including aerial success, tackle success, 50/50's etc. The only thing he didn't win was the pass accuracy stat however it was still relatively high.

In addition, he's established in the Greek National team.

 

Greek or Belgium which one is sexier?

Aldo has tattoos so he is a must sign #aggerspartner

 

surprising you haven't heard much of Papadapolous, who plays for a top German club, has always been talked of as one of the top young defenders and has been involved in the champions league while the other player's in a relatively unknown league.

I'd definitely go for Papa.

 

Maybe over there in the news but what I can gather over here, never heard of him. Of course he plays for Schalke, top 4 german club, etc but I hear more about Howedes than him tbf.

on papa.... that knee injury is scary... big time.

on ince... if someone pays 8mil thats... 7.5mil profit x 0.35 = 2/625mil due to us. would you pay 5mi lfor ince or would you take that money, round it to 3 and buy this Ictu guy or whatever his name is? All i see is every year he invcreases in value at blackpool he's owrth more to us.

On toby.. he's not that tall, we got toure in so i think i'd want papa more, but only if fit.


Mkhitaryan seems to be now a total media circus due mainly to idle media speculation so the sooner something occurs the better.

 

Papa will cost double what Toby does, also Belguim look like an up and coming team in the making, may be good to have one of them on board to convince others to come.
