Even if Hearts lost out £1 due to the rangers situation we still technically contributed to their downfall.
Responsibility and contribution are two different factors. Are Hearts responsible for the situation they are in? Yes. Did Rangers contribute to that situation? Yes.
But the big question is, are Boots the Chemist more or less guilty of contributing to Hearts' demise coz they put the price of their cotton wool balls up?
My post disappeared Every club in the SPL got just under an extra £100,000 from the UEFA solidarity fund solely due to Celtic reaching the CL group stages. Even if Rangers stole £90,000 off them (or lost them £90,000 by some mathematical myrical), Scottish football's glorious and benevelant benefactors offset that and got them an extra £10,000 net income. Rangers - wishing they caused the demise of other clubs Celtic - like a massive Florence Nightingale and social improver rolled into one You're welcome.
