What are peoples' views regarding the various reports linking some of our top stars away this summer? We've not been a selling club at all under Roman yet the rags would have you believe the likes of Mata, Luiz and Torres could be sold. Could understand the Torres one, if it makes way for a top draw striker but literally can't understand the logic of letting our 2 best players from last year leave (save for perhaps Hazard). Just wondering if the media are just stirring **** or making up stories to shift their crappy papers (wouldn't be the first time!!). How the hell can they expect people to believe that Jose couldn't find a place for Mata who has arguably been in the top 3 players in the league these last 2 seasons and certainly our best. Madness.
Nobody's suggesting you have to sell them. The rumours are that Jose doesn't fancy any of them for his style of play. Luiz is too erratic, Mata is too slow and Torres is too, well, ****. Like you, I think he's mad IF that is his view, specially on Mata. Welcome to the Lane anytime.
The papers don't know anymore than the average man off the street, it's mere speculation and guesswork. It's classic divide and conquer tactics. Unsettle the fans and players and get them to turn on the manager. Do we hear stories of Moyes falling out with United players because they don't suit his style of play?
I never know why people care what these rags say . Even when it comes true I question their sources, I reckon they guess 99% of their stories.
always going to be a lot of media speculation over who is Joses type of player cant see him getting rid of Mata Luiz is a rough diamond who could go on to become a great with the right coaching Torres is an enigma getting better but perhaps the obvious non Jose type of player
Thought it was funny especially about Mata, why Chelsea would want rid of one of the best players last year in the league guess transfers are not enough to fill the web pages of the beeb
They go on about Jose's targets and with FFP to contend with , how they plan to find the cash to fund it! So they are casting their eyes over who could raise enough in the market to pay for them! Whatever, Mata wants to stay , the fans want him to stay and my guess is he WILL stay!
Think not of losing Mata, but who we could demand in return..... ....Not that I'd accept anyone in the Barca squad apart from Messi......
Really? That team won its league handily enough against your manager who had huge cheque book, Ronaldo and a host of international stars, and got to the semifinal of the CL. I think you might want to have another look at their squad
Ye have another year to get things right and proven very good players departing for lets face it, unknown quantities coming in may impact your revenue this year. There are a few others that could go but you would think Mata would be essential to moving forward given what he has shown in this league already
Really. Xavi - nah. Iniesta - maybe if he was 5 years younger. Fabregas - you're having a larf. EVeryone else plays in the wrong postions. So yes. Really
Talking of Torres (kind of) I see he scored 4 goals last night, then missed a penalty, that see saw just keeps going. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22997782
