    Prejudice is how people judge Barton.

    I'm judging Scholes on how many times i've heard a commentator say 'same old Scholes, still can't tackle *chuckles*'

    And from watching him play. Like i said, superb with the ball, horrendous without.

    Can't believe some of the comments i have heard today. shearer apparently has said he was so good he could have played for barcelona! What? ahead of Xavi , Iniesta , Pedro.........? Give me a break!!

    One of the greatest players to play in his position of his era, yeah he couldn't tackle but he had a great footballing brain - up there with the likes of Zidane.

    To say he was just a thug who didn't know how to tackle is just complete ignorance and clearly knows nothing about football!

    Yeah, because he could of easily played with them! Pedro isn't as good as people say he is, he works hard (but then again, who is the Barca team doesn't eh?) and has a canny knack of scoring important goals but that's it.

    Great passer of the ball which is why Zidane etc rate him, conveniently overlooking his appalling attempts at tackles. (Plus they wouldnt exactly ruin his day by saying he was ****e would they?)

    Even with the awful tackles, he was still a brilliant player.

    He's really not that good, it's all media hype. Every time he played for England I knew we would underperform (in the same way if you play Gerrard and Lampard make us rubbish). He is overrated, overhyped and god damn dull.
