He was pretty decent. I do not understand why he wasnt in the team ahead of Bresnan and why Cook took him out of the attack when they were well into the SA tail.

Storms on and off here cologne and not that hot. Centre Press today are saying that we are having the wettest year since 1963.

Its tasty here Cologne. I would say up in the low 20's. In fact I had trouble sleeping last night, so had to do without the duvet for the first time of the year. And the way I sleep means its a rarity.

    Oh ye of little faith.....

My brother's in-laws emigrated to Australia 10 years ago as both their daughters live in Sydney. They both celebrated their 100th birthday last year - so oldies can be a bit hardier than they are normally given credit for. :)

Very high pollen count here today. I've given up sitting in the garden. Why hay fever though? I don't have a fever, just sneezing, and there's no hay about yet...

Been watching some of the Brazil v Mexico game. A sea of yellow in the stands and some football that has been copied from the Vic. ;)

All ready now for the trip tomorrow to the island across the channel. First stopping off point is Crawley. Don't you just envy me. <doh>

Morning all from a warm and muggy West West London...the expected storms did not materialise last night.

Watch out for the traffic on the way to Swales Yorkie, there will be a lot of Cricket supporters on thir way down there this morning - I saw a couple of mini-buses with Indian supporters on the M1 at 06.30!

RIP James Gandolfini - great actor and Tony S will be one of the classic TV characters of all time. 51 is no age...

Thanks in advance for the frothy AK
