I have nothing against this stance at all, its admirable infact. Buy for me supporting the club is just a way I feel personally, not about throwing cash at them, for horrible pollyester shirts or season tickets. I still consider myself a fan even I'd I do only see a handfull of games a year, hardly ever buy a shirt and I don't even live in the city. I don't need to justify this to myself, football is a money grabing business now; not my fault. I would love a season ticket, but it costs too much. I would lo ve the new shirt, but it costs too much and It's (probably going to be) horrible.
I've just seen a mock up on the net of that ^^ shirt but with Red Bull as the sponsor... anyone know if Red Bull are likely to be our sponsor?! If so that would be amazing, they are a great brand to be associated with... Not sure how good their logo would look on a shirt though.
They do advertising very well, by sponsoring events, sports clubs and personalities as well as projects such as Stratos they have established themselves with a global presence and as such we would do well to have them as a sponsor simply through exposure. Don't want us to be called Red Bull Southampton any time soon though!
Perhaps we would continue the trend of football teams appearing on F1 cars if we get Red Bull sposorship, as there is already Chelsea and QPR on other cars
I don't know if that actually is the finished product, but the sleeves look white from what I can see. Looks smart to me, but nothing special.
Loving that people feel comfortable enough to say it's spawned from Satan, using only a blurry possibly fake photo of a plain red shirt with white shoulder stripes and no visible sleeves.
Great we are now Liverpool FC. I know its blurry but you can tell it is just the Bristol city kit (which i hated)
