People are stupid and don't realise that if we have our hardest four fixtures at the end of the season, that means that we will have had an easier run up until then... If we are sat pretty on 40-45 points after 5 April, no-one would care even if we had to play Bayern, Barca, Real and PSG away in our last four matches.

as i said earlier rob, i think if we are at least 4 or 5 points above the drop with four games to go, we'll probably be safe - and i very much doubt we would lose all four of our final games anyway. the two home games (liverpool and arsenal) are both winnable

More so if Real Madrid divest them of our Uruguayan nemesis by then <ok>

Supers, I think you are being tad optimistic in regards to Liverpool being winnable, have you not seen what they have done to you the last 2 times!

I agree, but if we are in a position where we can't mathematically go down four or five games from the end, it won't matter. My point was that this is more likely if we have our hardest matches at the end!

how is it optimistic to think we'll get at least one win or a couple of draws? what i saw last year was suarez perform miracles. he might not be there. the home game last year was pure clinical finishing from the man - liverpool were not very good on the day - they scored with every shot they had. they are not a particularly good side and we beat arsenal at home and should have beaten them away. i always fancy us to beat any team at home, any team, or at least get a result! only four teams took all three points from carrow road last year - liverpool (freak result), chelsea (wonder goal), man city (great game, close call) and villa (stolen at the death). i don't personally expect us to be in any real danger of relegation

Looking at the fixtures I think we need to get points early on, a slow start will not be good enough this year.

Obviously we need a good start, but the end of February and then the whole of March is a good run of fairly easy looking games. We should be looking to get 4 or 5 wins from the 7 or 8 games in that run.

See that #ncfc at home to both Swansea and Tottenham might get moved to Sundays because of the Europa League.

another positive: we will probably have a big say in the title race. got to expect both chelsea and united will be in contention at that stage, maybe arsenal but more likely fighting with spurs for top four. then there's liverpool. nothing to add to them ;)

Looking again at these last 4 fixtures, the outcome of the title could well be in our hands next April/May <laugh>

Same time and sentiments, Supers. The fact that it's panned out that way adds immense drama to the entire season, though, does it not?
