If Jose can prove himself at Chelsea by getting them to challenge for the title again do you think he'll ever get a shot at another big club or will his failure at Real haunt him forever?
By failure do you mean a record points setting league title? Come to think of it doesn't Jose have the record in the Prem too, something you bottled last season?
I think hes been quite sensible. he clearly failed to meet expectations at Real and its hurt his ego. This is a guy who expects to win everything at any club he is at. By dropping down 2 or 3 levels to a second or third tier club like Chelsea he is once again the big fish in a puddle somewhere in the Sahara. As a manager after failing at Real Madrid its basically impossible to make a step up to a big club like United. Also, someone list all other real Madrid managers and where they went after madrid. Usually to some small timers.
By failure I mean the least successful manager in the history of the club to have managed it for 3 or more seasons. Not something to be proud of but a good quiz question. Is there a special trophy for the points record or is it just one of those stats Chelsea fans trot out to try and make themselves appear relevant and mask the fact that Sunderland have won more league titles?
Right, now that the moron UIR has arrived I'm off. When you get that quote from jose please feel free to pm me with it
Ask your last manager, he's the one who said he wanted it......and yes, I can give you a quote on that
It would have been a bit odd had he said they didn't want to win their remaining games. I know you're used to Chelsea rolling over in the league to try and win the cups, Chelsea are after all a cup side, but most clubs try and win as many league games as possible.
That's no measure, Shwan spits his dummy out when an ancient retired footballer doesn't get picked for team GB even though the ancient retired player wouldn't pick himself. Spitting out dummies makes him spit his dummy out Still DL, there has not been one shred of fact in the claims Jose was offered the job, logic would indicate United would want another Fergie and Moyes is a closer to match to Fergie than Jose. In the end United would not have wanted a manager to come in for 2-3 years and expect 100m+ a year to spend and leave after that time with the club possibly in turmoil. Jose and management is kind of like Crack Cocaine, great while the addict is on it but fk me once the crack runs out it all goes pear shaped
No, you asking me shows you couldn't find a quote to give me. That's why you tried to deflect. Jolly Good.
Swarbs is getting pretty funny too offering up a journos quote as if it came from Jose himself. Not sure if that goes in the pathetic attempt of just stupid column.
You are talking nonsense, you started the thread. You referred to Jose turning United down but offered no tangible evidence he was ever offered the job that you in the first place claimed he refused. I think you needed to provide some quotes or in fact any trustworthy reporting that Jose was actually offered the job, because Jose has never said himself he was offered the job. No one except Chelsea fans in fact thinks he was actually offered the job. When asked directly to prove this you just talk dribble out yer backside to try avoid failing to show any proof of your version of events So you either put up or shut up, it's that simple
