That post is the biggest load of **** I've read on here for a day or so, and that's saying something.
So you don't think we need a cover goalkeeper, another CB, a DM, an AM and two strikers? You're happy with the squad as is? Fair enough. Or do you not agree with McGregor being good enough to be #1? Despite the fact that he's been playing at a club much, much better than ours (don't try and twist that, Besiktas or us, it's not exactly a contest). Maybe we will try and sign another goalkeeper, but I don't think it'll be a knock your socks off signing, it'll be somebody cheap as a back up. And GLP, yeah, somehow forgot that he'd come in. I mean he's only been arriving for the last month or so
I always saw him in more of a forward role at Brighton? Well if he's a DM then I'd take him at the right price, but as OLM said he's in demand and Brighton might price us out of a move.
Figueroa is naturally a left back, bridcutt is a combative midfielder, and mellis plays quite deep too, more of a traditional central midfielder. Personally I don't think we need another centreback, not unless Hobbs leaves. A DM would be nice if the bidet is spare but not a priority, this is the premiership not the championship, meyler and Quinn are more than hard enough in this soft pansy league. I'd say we need to sign a striker and right winger next (assuming that the goalie is sorted of course)
Agree about the need for a striker, but with Elmo coming in, will we need to push the boat out or will it be a freebie/loan? Seen that Wigan are eyeing a move for Nick Powell, will be a good signing for them if it comes off, but would he be better off in the PL or is he not quite ready yet?
I'd be looking at Kebe at Reading for a winger, I think he's a great player and pops up with the odd goal.
Would be a great signing. Miyaichi from Arsenal on loan would also fit the bill. Apparently he was awesome for Feyenoord.
Getting a bit fed up of the Kasper saga. Actually as a ready made off the shelf goalkeeper I'd rather have McGregor. Kasper may have potential, but he's currently a Championship goalie for a mediocre mid table side. McGregor is currently playing at a higher level. If we get Kasper, great, but if I could only sign one of them I'd go for McGregor as the better immediate choice and certainly better value for money at half the price. And if that saving is spent on a striker then it's a win/win as far as I'm concerned. The only plus of getting Kasper would be pissing off Leicester, but they'll lose him soon anyway.
No he(ks) is Not. Dr Assem Allam confirms that Alan McGregor is almost a Hull City player this am Live on the Burnsy show.
He won't be free in January, only at the end of the season and if we're signing McGregor, we won't be looking for another No.1.
