Mark my words......I thought we may have struggled anyway, now with this fixture list, we are in trouble! Before xmas we will struggle to win 2 on the belt! Wins breed confidence! By xmas we may have none! And with a volatile manager in charge and things having a habit of biting us on the arse....please excuse my lack of optimism!

    miserable sod!

I think this could be to our benefit, what's the point of thinking anything else? take on the best at home while they're getting into their stride and PDC will have our lot fit and up for it, so in with a good chance of picking up points. no point in showing fear, just go out and batter the bastards.

come on lads. a few more quality signings, and italian boot camp and on we go.

I really don't understand what everone is banging on about - everyone plays eachother twice. Last season we never thought we'd beat, newcastle away, man city and everton at home and we did. It's football, nothing is for sure.

Chin up lads the fixtures have only been out an hour and you're moaning about something. Bloody hell, not a ball kicked...

Someone make sure Jumbo doesn't go near any bridges today :emoticon-0103-cool:

We have to play every team twice anyways. Not too fussed with the order. Yes it could have been easier but no point in panicking.

    Haway!

    Sorry fellas!

Before a ball was kicked last season I had never been so optimistic, what with our signings and manager etc! What happened?......probably the most depressing season I had ever witnessed, even though we had been a lot worse off in the past, I had never felt so low regarding my football club! Maybe I still havnt recovered from that! Im just worried that we wont be able to string any results together early on! By the time that we have a run of fixtures where that may be possible, lack of confidence and too much pressure may hinder our progress! I just hope that Di Canio's signings change the mentality of the players, cos last seasons lot would struggle under this fixture list!

    FULHAM (H)
    SOUTHAMPTON (A)
    CRYSTAL PALACE (A)

There's 3 we could win. Next we have Arsenal at home who we have a decent record against. Liverpool at home is also a game we should be looking to win.

    SWANSEA (A)
    NEWCASTLE (H)
    HULL (A)

We should win at least another two there.

    STOKE (A)
    VILLA (A)

Why can't we win them two in a row?

    WEST HAM (A)
    NORWICH (H)

All run of games before Christmas.

Do you think we are the only team in the league with **** fixtures?

Teams like Palace, Hull, Cardiff, Stoke and Norwich will probably be dreading every fixture they look at.

Apologies! I still have last seasons mentality hanging over me! I still think we will do well to be outside of the bottom 6 by xmas! I admit that we have winnable away games before xmas, but on past experience we will do well to win 1 in 4! You rely on home games to string wins together. This will prove difficult!

We'll win every game without conceding, records smashec arl ower.

Joking aside, if we show early on that we mean business and turn the sol into a couldren of noise, teams dont like to come here, plenty of managers have said it!

Doesnt really matter who we play when its how we play

Got to be fixed that, playing all 5 of the top teams at home in the first 7 !, scandalous look at the mags's home fixtures Hull, Fulham etc.
