Why does Moyes get his own first five fixtures caption on the BBC and not, Mourinho, Pellegrini, Mark Hughes , etc. Obsessed not......
Pretty happy with that, the run-in to December is quite decent so when we go away to the big teams we should have some decent form. Emphasis on the word should.
Thanks guys (wasn't sure if the capital one games counted). He won't be happy sitting on his hands until October with all the razzmatazz of the new season all around, seems ages away.
Don't we have a second round League Cup game to play because we're not in Europe? Means he would be available after five league games if so They do count towards the ban, any domestic game does
I think the fixture lists have been relatively kind to both of the City's clubs tbh. First derby not until November though & at Goodison for the 11th year running!
Yeah that's a real baptism of fire for Moyes, I'm sure he'd have preferred a few 'easier' fixtures to start his tenure. They could be calling for his head after the derby in late Sept
for me i think its not fantastic. I only ever look at two periods. christmas/new year and the end of season. Our start is "ok" but i am looking at the Christmas fixtures Cardiff City (H) Manchester City (A) Chelsea (A) Hull City (H) thats a mixed bag really. boxing day and the 28th are horrible but with any luck the other two can compensate. I'd want 7/12 points here. the run in on the other hand is not so nice. Manchester United (A) Cardiff City (A) Tottenham Hotspur (H) West Ham (A) Manchester City (H) Norwich City (A) Chelsea (H) Crystal Palace (A) Newcastle United (H) I mean its "ok" but we've got 4 top 4 teams in the last 9 games with what i'd call dross in between sorry to those sides but if LFC can't beat them then its a ****e season anyway.... the last fixutre is newcastle so if there's nothing riding on it well it could be great... i want something to be riding on it though... i wonder if that is newkie relegation or us for top 4? In terms of us having a good start i just feel suarez did for that anyway.
Very difficult start to the season for Moyes and United. But the other side of the coin is a nice run in. Fergie would have love that fixtures list.
