Premier League Fixtures 2013/14

Why? Surely you'd want an easier game first up, lose two or three and you are immediately under pressure as a newly promoted side.

 

You never know, we might cause an upset before the ''happy one'' has got the side settled

 

I want the harder games earlier because I expect us to be fighting relegation, and I would rather us have none of the big sides away later on (though we do have Man Utd away in April).

Our first PL adventure started with a bang. Ask Arsenal. Not saying that history counts for anything.
First challenge of the season, it has to be better to face one of the top teams early on, just to find out how well prepared or not we are.

It's a better fixture for us than you really.

 

Damn on holiday for 3PL

 

We'll be on a high with Jose coming home and last time we played you at home on the first game of the season we won... But as you say... History doesn't really count for anything'... Wouldn't say it's better for you though

 

No chance. United away is our second game and we have the Supercup the week after, we'll come out all guns blazing and our record on the opening day is unrivalled.

I'm not saying we WILL win just rejecting the idea it's better for you.

but am confident we will be up there at the end of the season

 

For me its a nice way to start, followed with aways to both Mancs and L'Arse before Christmas!

 

All the pressure on them.

Much better to have tough home games at the end of the season than beginning.

 

If we can cut out these stupid November/December slumps that have cost us the last 2 seasons we'll be in a good position

 

Home after 5 of the 6 CL group games.

 

And 4 London games in a row over the Christmas Period + Southampton on NYD.

No travel

 

Well, if things don't go right this season we really can't blame the fixture list

 

Up here, couldn't get more exciting then to come to the Bridge for the opener, whatever the outcome.
Put it this way we are much happier to start the season with you lot then end the season.
We have a few little gems in our squad, a lot different to the last time you saw us. I expect us to put up a fight, but Im not expecting anything more then a 2-0 loss. Anything more is a bonus.

I will be making the trip down, first visit to the Bridge for me! I hope we win, & I hope you win the title

 

I've had a good look at the fixtures for all the teams and it is my unbiased opinion that Chelsea FC will get the most points.

You will be made most welcome! I know over the years I've seen your team at the Bridge before, but I cant remember when! Have you played in the Prem before?

 

I think it will be one of us or City.
