I got an email from the club at 09:01 this morning, couldn't copy from it though and couldn't be arsed to type it all out.

 

We have all the difficult fixtures at home for the first half of the season and away for the second half.

Let's hope we get a lot of points early on as they will be harder to get as the season progresses.

 

Fixtures are totally unbalanced! Have you seen our run of home games after Fulham!????? We'll be in the relegation zone by xmas for sure, even if we play well!!!!

 

I think its disgusting! Totally unfair!

 

The six fixtures in Sept. and Oct. couldn't be much tougher, hope we pick up points from the off.

 

Get them out the way early on, they will still be starting to gel like us

But when we find ourselves in or near the relegation zone at xmas, the so called 'easy' run of home games will be made a whole lot tougher! Same as what happened last season! I honestly think we are ****ed! Might put a bet on!

 

I wouldnt go that far, top of the league after first 3 games, become the home draw specialists whilst picking up away wins, zero part season ticket sales, comfortable finish while winning the cup

 

Wish I had your optimism! We're ****ed!

 

I start the season with low expectations then anything is a bonus!! It'smuch easier to win games when you are winning games (if you get my meaning)
Fulham, Southampton and Palace we should look to remain unbeaten and a minimum of 2 wins!

We always get the **** end of the stick with the fixtures.

 

Theres some crazy fixtures in there like, soton then palace away, long trips, cardiff and everton away within 2 days, who put our preferencing in?

 

Saying we are ****ed though is very OTT in my opinion.

Stop ya bloody whinging. Did you see our fixtures last year? We lost first 4 n after 10 were bottom with worst GD ever! We still finished 14th...

 

get 6points from first 3games and can go into the arsenal game looking to cause an upset

tricky fixtures but the first 3 give us a chance to get going.

I think with all these quick, powerful playrs we want we might be more suited to playing away

 

Bloody hell man. As far as I was aware every team plays each other. With October and november you may get the top teams sidetracked with the champions league. Thought the start looked ok. Tough away games at the end but still have Cardiff and Swansea at home. Excited for more signings to come and fairly optimistic.

 

Just hope people knowing the fixture give Paolo a chance and don't panic. We are going to need a shock or two at home! Hardly spread out those fixtures!!!!! Paolo will be up for it!!! Bring it on!!!!
