Does anyone know when we're going to announce our pre-season friendly fixtures? Every club in the Premier League has announced some of theirs except us.
Well, they're certainly leaving the tour a bit late to announce, considering a few people will want to go, take time off work, get necessary money etc
Got me all excited thinking someone actually knew some dates. Don't think that Nicola cares whether fans go to the away games, so your convenience won't come into it. The annoying thing is that all the dates are known and probably have been for some time. It's been suggested that we are playing Espanyol, but it won't be for the Leihberr Trophy as they are playing Spurs the Saturday before the season starts.
The hot tip off one of Lallana's mates who posts on SaintsWeb is a short tour to Spain and Austria. No word yet on home fixtures or Liebherr cup.
Link didn't work for me, but pointed me in the right direction (thanks). Echo have fluffed out the rumour about Austria and Spain that we heard yesterday, so sounds like that is true. We need a well planned preseason...no repeat of Pardew's jaunt..then back firing on all cylinders. Hopefully, all of our signings () will get the chance to fit in.
Lallana said in the Adam Blackmore interview that "we go away for quite a long time" and "we'll come back and it'll be a couple of weeks, and we'll be raring to go." Sounds like it may be a fairly long camp then, how long did they go to France for last time, was it 2 weeks?
