It's a wonder The Boomtown Gerry builders have not been attracted to pitch up for some easy pickings NZ - surely the government should be looking at getting some temp help in?

Just read a snippet of news from my hometown in Oz - my first ever football coach has just signed a three year contract to coach Plymouth Argyle. I feel for the Plymouth players as he was a fitness freak & his pre-season training verged on cruelty - we had to run up a sand gully which stretched from the end of our training ground to the top of a 400m mountain overlooking the town, once as a warm up, once during each session and once to finish each session off. <yikes>

As if the running wasn't bad enough, we had to contend with the wildlife too - snakes, dingoes and wild pigs. Kept us alert I suppose. ;)

I don't really understand the mad scrabble to see the fixture list! There are 19 clubs other than us, we have to play each of them at home and away, no matter what order we play them in!

I only get really excited when the new season is fast approaching! <ok>

Morning all from a muggy West West London...thanks for the frothy AK and hope you get that start very soon.

Looks like I will miss the first game of the season as I will be sunning myself somewhere hot and sunny, which is a shame as Brum away is a cracking day out....

I was a bit nervous when we put them in first, but once again they are proving me wrong. What do I know lol. But where has this sort of performance been for the other matches?
