Is that really the name of your team?

Yeah. I've always wanted to name something that. A play or something, but a team will have to do.

Not sure if it's the best name. Cancer is a sensitive subject for a lot of people and it only takes one or two people who have lost someone very close because of cancer to create some awkward situations.

When I did Soccerena a few years ago our team name was Monkey Nuts (it's a family tradition for some reason). A new guy took it over and said that we couldn't have it anymore as it could be deemed as racist <grr>.

That's ridiculous. I don't understand why people get offended at things like that. If you're offended then it says more about you than the name or word.

I'm aware of that. My grandma at the moment is suffering and won't make it through, but we can joke about it. It isn't this big scary anthropomorphic thing called 'cancer' that kills things. It's a disease and it happens to many people. If we laughed at things like that more then i think the world would be a better place. Sorry to end on that kind of contrived platitude.

    Yin and Yang.
