Delighted for Heffernan, how must if feel for him to watch Joseph O'Brian get legged up on all those first strings? It is slightly surprising that he won by so far but was the apparent third string. It says he ran lazily on his debut however and so there is a chance he is also very lazy at home and does not show too much, he certainly did just then however and it's clearly the best two year old performance so far this season. I have backed Justification ion the next so hoping the stable form continues.
Min stakes on the Gosden horse in the last because it's winnings and then all eyes onto tomorrow which looks a poorer and tougher card at first glance.
I know what you mean George. ROTO advised it on here and it was ATR pick on their website. With hindsight it would be mine too Anticipated in the lucky last. That said Lieutenant Miller was Anticipated in the last!
Been a good day having a little play on the american raider Ogermeister(yard won this in 2009 with similar type) EW and an even small wager on the Johnston horse Peterkin @ 50s quickened up nicely LTO but then hung badly and faded inside the final 1f
I'm with you on Ben Hall GGW. Am off to Ascot tomorrow - suspect many races will be a no bet for me. It's so hard!
Cheers lads Not at all surprised to see him do that. Great ride Fran who pushed the button at the perfect time and was an excellent performance under top weight.
If ROTO's around just wandering what your thoughts are on Educate tomorrow? Is it redemption time for the forum?
I'm on at 25s, 20s and will put more on tomorrow. His blow up at Newbury was just an off day and he was firmly back on track the last day. No question in my mind he has the ability to win tomorrow and hopefully he gets a clean run in the massive field.
