I'm just glad we have managed to get something for him this could have dragged on for ages if West Ham hadn't come in for him, I was worried about another loan then another and him going for nothing eventually.

 

Sell on clauses are normally only on profit made in the transfer so even if there was one in Carroll's transfer to us then it shouldn't make a difference.

Good to see a lot of business going on early but would still like a DM to come in and add some competition to Lucas. Diame or Mulumbu are ones that spring to mind from last season that impressed.

 

I feel we are barely looking at defenders enough let alone a DM! think that could be a January purchase.

 

Perhaps BR will see how Toure/Skrtel do alongside Agger? and LLori in for Coates? Means we can get a better CB in Jan if required perhaps

 

Ya, I was thinking about LB/RB as well, someone to compete with JE andGJ. Although, they are saying Llori can play LB due to his pace as well so who knows.
