the thing that annoys me is that no one has confirmed or denied that there will be a terrace at the bookerdome:emoticon-0119-puke:

Do you think the Stadium project will be blocked now, or another site found? I'm still wondering what happened to the long term plan to have a stadium down Abbey Barn Road area.

i cant really see it getting built now, there are more people on the council now that are against the project and they have already wasted enough public money on the feasability study and in this current financial climate i cant see them wanting to waste a lot more.also with wasps supporters up in arms about the price of their renewal of season tickets and a lot of them saying they are not willing to renew ,why bother to build it if its not needed, wasps will be off soon cos they dont stick around anywhere for too long anyway and we will be left with adams park all to ourselves again.

So what do you reckon Hayes will do, scrap the transfer budget?

Personally I think the best idea would be to sort out the exit from Adams Park (that is a nightmare) and put a plan in place to get out of debt.

    Here is my wicked plan.
    1. The council classify the land as non-building. That means he can't sell it to clear his debts.
    2. The club and supporters buy the FC back from Hayes at the reduced value on borrowed money which they pay back from revenue

I have no idea of the figures involved but let's just say (purely for illustration purposes) the ground was valued at £2m. The "club" pay Hayes £2m using money raised. In exchange for the £2m raised a share of the club is granted but leaving the "club" as a majority shareholder (some good selling required). He walks off with £2m and free from a rising debt. The club is now a majority shareholder of the site and a £4m debt (or whatever). The Council then re-classify the land to increase its value. The "club" then raise a loan for £4m against the security of the ground to be repaid over (say) 10 years with option to repay partially or wholly at any time. The "club" pays back at say £600k pa. By pruning back the staff they could probably find that. And by finding a team who would share the ground for a reasonable rent we should be able to get out of debt. No more borrowing until the debt is virtually cleared and the income - outgoings is sufficient to guarantee repayments over 5 years.

I did have another thought but it is not going into print.

Just demolish Adams Park and don't bother building another stadium, all you need is a field to play at the non-league level you chavboys belong at! <laugh>

<laugh><laugh><laugh> I can't see you staving off relegation beyond March this time with your truly awful manager.

This Wycombe team is the weakest L2 side to come up to League One for years, serious cannon fodder - We are going to SMASH you. <cheers>
