    It seems the fixture list was accidentally leaked this morning, a Cardiff fan who saw it claims that their fifth game is at home against us.

    That one is definitely bollocks, the FA have already announced six opening day fixtures and they're not on that list...

    Championship: Burnley v Bolton, Derby v Blackburn
    League One: Preston v Wolves, Sheffield United v Notts County
    League Two: Newport v Accrington, Rochdale v Hartlepool

    Anything with 'leak' as the header would suggest to me its not genuine.

    They're all the original clubs from the start of the football league (except Newport), so i'm guessing it's a show piece thing done by the football league for their 125th anniversary.

    I'm guessing Everton could be playing Stoke on the opening day.

    I miss the first 2 games and possibly the third as well - but I'll be watching from Costa Blanca.

    Nobody gets to know in advance of release. Not even SSN have any idea of who plays who. Not long to wait though.


    Anyoen can make up a fixture list and leak it. The media get a copy at 8am so that they can do a heads up but are not allowed to say anything until 9am.

    IF and its a Mega IF, that is true it will be 21st september then. Much better than the middle of winter in wales.

    They have not. I suspect silly buggers at work. If Arsenal want cannon fodder give them Crystal Palace ffs. lol.

    All the clubs will have had them at least 24 hours with a strict 'EMBARGOED UNTIL 9am 19/06/13' plastered all over the list.

    In the age of e-mail, all you need is some tech numpty in a club office to have access and not know what 'embargoed' means and then put them on the web-site and you have a leak.....

    Are you just guessing all this?!? Yes they do get the fixtures in advance. For many years I used to work for PA who coordinate all the release of the fixtures to all clubs and media. PA wouldve had the fixtures yesterday, all their staff will have seen all the fixtures and all clubs and media will have them today. As PA is based in Howden we used to have a lot of City fans working there and some used to leak them every season (not me).

    The fixtures are under embargo not to release until tomorrow morning.
