Sorry Party but that couldn't be less appropriate to us playing Liverpool first game. If it's true, then Suarez definitely won't be playing.
To be fair PA will already have the fixtures and will today be issuing these to all clubs under embargo. Also remember the official PL website leaking Jose's (Ok, not so secret) appointment a day before being made official? I'd take it as a positive as I can only see Liverpool improving as the season goes on, much like last year. They'll have a new keeper, no Suarez, new centre back - Charlie Austin will rip 'em one....
On the downside, if this is genuine I'd fully expect it to be live on Sky and a non-Satdee 3pm kick off.
Until it's set in stone, it's a rumour. They took it down didn't they? If it is correct no doubt all the plastic scousers will be out and about mouthing off.
Why do you think they took it down! It might be a mistake and it also could prove to not be the opening game but it certainly isn't a 'rumour'.
It will probably be correct - they always get out 24 hours before the official launch date/time. They could easily prevent leaks by better security measures in place.
I think this is genuine. Why would someone make up a screenshot for 18 hours worth of a ****, pointless lie? It would hardly be 'hilarious' would it?
This thread is the only thing I can find about it on goolge. If it was true then the Liverpool side would have it plastered all over the world by now.
Its all over twitter and Ive seen said screenshot. Has us, Fulham then Everton as first 3 games for them. Has been picked up by many websites.
And if they knew how to photoshop the liverpool website why would they take a picture of it with their phone and not just screenshot it?
What difference does it make one way or another anyway? We'll play the skip rats at some point or other, just like we will every other team. The fixture list, especially in the Prem is only first draft anyway, it needs Sky etc to bugger about with it yet.
